Marble Countertops
Unlike many countertop materials, which create a uniform look around the room, Marbled Stone has an added design feature: natural accents. Often there are unique, and almost seemingly random, swirls of color that accentuate the stone. Though these haphazard accents may seem like flaws in the product, it actually creates the opposite effect: these imperfections emphasize the natural beauty of the stone.
Now available in a wide variety of colors from white to green to brown, Marble has broadened it timeless appeal. Marble countertops are durable and beautiful, though they are softer than Granite. Most Marble is used for vanities and free standing furniture pieces, but it finds many other uses, even kitchens.
Marble is often seen as fireplace surrounds, window sills, and flooring, but its strongest statement is as a countertop, conferring an unequaled elegance on any room.
Selecting Marble
Many of the familiar colors of marble are so consistent that they can be recognized instantly, but now, the ever widening styles and colors are so individual that the customer should view the slabs to personalize the selection.
